Skyline Film Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit film organization producing high-quality films by and for creatives balancing career, life, and artistic expression.

Our mission is to create paid opportunities for professional actors, writers, filmmakers, and creative artists through an accessible, community-driven production environment.
We support emerging and working creatives with fair compensation and a platform to bring underrepresented voices and stories to life—making high-quality filmmaking possible without sacrificing stability or livelihood.

Secure Funding
We accept donations from corporations, individuals, grants, and other sources with the goal of producing at least 1 short film per year.
Partner with a Production Crew
We partner with local DFW production crews who share our goal of maximizing opportunities for actors, writers, and filmmakers.
Produce Films
As part of our process, we choose at least 1 film script per year to produce. Once selected, we determine how to best allocate funds between actors, writers, crew members, and other production costs.

Matt Reno
Founder & Executive Director
As Executive Director, Matt leads the organization’s artistic vision, project development, and day-to-day operations, while overseeing partnerships, fundraising strategy, and long-term growth.
Vinita Dixit
Director
Vinita serves on the Board of Directors, providing strategic guidance on creative development and production planning. She supports the Foundation’s mission by advising on project execution, artistic direction, and financial review.
Lauren Secrest
Director
Lauren is a member of the Board of Directors, providing high-level guidance on organizational planning and strategic direction. She supports the Foundation by reviewing plans and offering perspective on the Foundation’s annual goals.
Governance & Operations
Skyline Film Foundation is governed by a small, working Board of Directors. The Founder serves as Executive Director and President of the Board, and all Directors and officers serve in a volunteer capacity. The Foundation has no paid staff.
